The Clients We Serve
The Patrician Society of Central Norristown provides help for elderly people on fixed incomes, homeless persons, parents with children and receiving public assistance, residents of boarding homes, recently unemployed and underemployed family breadwinners, and others in need.
We have been serving economically disadvantaged families in the greater Norristown area for over twenty-nine years.
2010
The Emergency Food Cupboard, in its 29th year, continues its mission of providing grocery baskets for verifiably needy families and individuals.
When funding is available, we also assist eligible families with heating oil, other utilities, uninsured medical expenses and rent.
The Patrician Society 30th annual Summer Day Camp, offering 6 one-week sessions for children ages 5-11, will open on July 6 and will close on August 13.
As always, Patrician Society Board of Directors and staff are aware that our work only takes place because of the donors and volunteers who make a true difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate than most of us!
